Anna: Wool/U.S. Cotton

Isn’t it a pleasure when two friends you really like finally meet? Our Anna: Wool/U.S. Cotton blend is new on the Imperial Stock Ranch scene, and we couldn’t be happier about this duo. Made with 70% Imperial wool and 30% U.S. cotton, Anna produces a soft knit fabric with a bit of uneven texture, creating a visually interesting surface. The wool brings elasticity and some structure to the cotton, making it a nice versatile yarn when you’re looking for an alternative to 100% wool for projects like sweaters, scarves, hats, bags and home décor. Available in Natural; plus eight beautiful dyed colors. A great choice for hand dye projects.

Erin: Worsted 3-Ply

One of Imperial Stock Ranch’s newest offerings, the Erin: Worsted (5.25) 3-Ply is a terrific all-around medium worsted weight yarn. Producing a softer fabric than the 2-ply, Erin is especially nice for color work and textured stitch patterns. Versatility is one of its many charms—choose it to create just about anything, from medium-weight sweaters, gloves, hats and scarves to pillows and tote bags. The Erin yarn is available in eight colors as well as Natural and is a great choice for hand dye projects.

Native Twist: Soft Spun Single

When the forecast calls for wintry winds and heavy snowfalls, fear not. Native Twist (our most popular product) comes to the rescue with a single-ply, lofty yarn. The bulky weight creates a soft, smooth knit fabric, making it an excellent option for heavy-weight outerwear such as coats and sweaters and fantastic for bags like our Farmers Market Tote. The structure and texture of our soft spun wool allows it to form a matted, felted surface—ideal for felting projects such as our Felted Bangles and Bracelets and Imperial Town Hat. We’ve even heard of folks making book covers, pet beds, cell phone cases and coffee cozies. Now that’s imagination!
