About Imperial yarn
Once a year, our soft white wool is harvested from sheep, and the process of transforming this naturally renewable resource into a wide selection of fibers and yarns begins. All the wool is specially milled without harsh chemicals or extreme temperatures, leaving it comfortable, soft, and pure. With custom colors in solids and heathers, Imperial Yarn offers knitters, weavers, and other fiber artists a naturally beautiful array of hues, textures, and weights.
Imperial Yarn is 100% American Grown American Made. All of our natural fibers are sourced ethically in the USA. We currently raise Huacaya Alpacas and Rambouillet Sheep on our ranch and purchase fiber from other Climate Beneficial Verified Ranches.
We started working with Emigh Stock Ranch in 2017 as they began to become a Climate Beneficial Verified ranch. We are blessed to work with Emigh and use their beautiful wool in our offerings.
As we have grown, so has the demand for Climate Beneficial Fiber. In the Fall of 2020, we were asked to take on the ownership of the Climate Beneficial Fiber Pool. We are now working with other grower partners.
We are happy to offer wool from Emigh Stock Ranch, Bare Ranch, and Kaos Sheep Outfit. We, for the first time, are offering scoured tops as well as yarns for commercial spinning, knitting, weaving and hand knitting, and crocheting.
Please let us know if we can help you in any way. We have a full list of supply chain partners ready to help make your design dreams come true.
