Beginning knitters, do not be intimidated by the project. It is EASY and you CAN do it!!! The poncho is knit in one piece with no seams.  The stitches are a combination of stockinette and seed stitch.  I have learned that I can knit just about anything now with the help of a few friends and my very best friend YouTube.  Scott Rohr designed this classic poncho with ease of wear in mind.  Ponchos are so handy and I like that my arms can be under the poncho if I am cold or outside of the poncho if I am hot.  I love the texture that is achieved with the stockinette and seed stitches.  I know Broken Top will give a beautiful stitch definition.  Come on along and Knit with me.
