The Koko sweater kit is a circular yoke pullover worked from the top-down. Koko’s back hem is worked longer with short rows. The sleeves are also worked top-down.  We have paired this sweater, designed by Eri Shimizu, with our McKenzie 3 ply 100% merino wool fingering weight yarn. McKenzie’s high twist will provide a nice finish and help slow down any naturally occurring pilling.  This sweater is the perfect weight for this 100% merino wool fingering weight yarn.  We are offering 10 different color choices for this sweater.

  1. Extra Small- Small:  Bust: 42 3/4″, Armhole: 7 3/4 ” Upper Arm Circumference: 14 1/4″, Sleeve Length: 16 3/4”, Body Front Length: 14 1/4”
  2. Medium – Large:  Bust: 49 1/2″, Armhole: 9″, Upper Arm Circumference: 16″, Sleeve Length: 16 3/4”, Body Front Length: 14 1/4”
  3. Extra Large – 2 Extra Large: Bust: 57 3/4″ Armhole: 10 1/4″, Upper Arm Circumference: 19 1/2″, Sleeve Length: 16 3/4”, Body Front Length: 14 1/4”
  4.  Note:  Body length is different for each size based on the Arm Circumference.  E.g., The body for a md-lrg sweater would be 22 1/4 ” in the front and 24 1/4″ in the back, for the xs-sm front 21 1/4″ back would be 23 1/2″, for the xl-2xl front 23 1/2″ back 25 3/4″

Yarn:  McKenzie Fingering Weight Merino (100% Wool – Merino; 220 yards / 50 g) 8 (10, 12) skeins, 

Needle
US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needles, 24” / 60 cm or longer
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

After blocking
23 sts and 34 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch with US 5 / 3.75 mm needle
