    You asked for it we made it!  80% American Alpaca + 20% American Merino Wool ribbed beanie!  This beanie will not disappoint, it’s soft, warm and will keep you at just the right temperature.  Alpaca and merino wool are a wonderful combination.  Alpaca adds drape, lighter in weight than wool.  Wool adds memory and loft to the yarn.  We have been blending alpaca and merino wool together for several year.

    This beanie is offered in oodles of colors, so there is something for everyone.  If you are a dyer you will love over-dyeing the rose gray and natural white. All spun and made in the USA!

    We took 40% American alpaca, 40% American sheep wool, and 20% American hemp and said, “Let’s make this interesting.” And oh, did we.

    This yarn is FUN. Textured. Visually dramatic. Slightly overachieving. It brings depth and dimension to everything from cozy accessories to big, bold statement pieces.

    Now, fiber geek confession time. My favorite part? The dye show.

    When you blend protein fibers (hello, wool and alpaca) with a cellulose fiber (hey there, hemp), they grab dye differently and at different temperatures. Which means the color development is basically a science experiment with fabulous hair.

    The result? Depth. Dimension. Unexpected pops. A little “ooh!” and sometimes a full “well would you look at that.”
