This Dishcloth is an elegant knit that is super simple to make. That’s right, it’s perfect for beginners! It is worked in an alternating pattern of purls and knits to create a woven basket weave effect that looks great on both sides, both front and back. A garter stitch border with a slip stitch edge, gives this dishcloth a tidy finish and polished look. This project is 8.25″ x 8.25″ but easily adapts to different sizes if a towel is more your style.
Made from 1 skein of Joshua II. Our new rambouillet/Columbia wool blended with domestic hemp. This yarn is special. We have not made a lot of hemp blends and the two-dimensional way the yarn takes the dye, makes it look like a heather and adds a nice visual and textural enhancement. This simple project knits up quickly and you will love the useful & durable end product. Your kit will include 1 skein of our Joshua II DK weight yarn in your chosen color. It arrives in our fun project bag with one of our iconic bells and of course a printed paper pattern.

Joshua II — an American Fiber Mosaic, if you will. 🇺🇸🧶
We took 40% American alpaca, 40% American sheep wool, and 20% American hemp and said, “Let’s make this interesting.” And oh, did we.
This yarn is FUN. Textured. Visually dramatic. Slightly overachieving. It brings depth and dimension to everything from cozy accessories to big, bold statement pieces.
Now, fiber geek confession time. My favorite part? The dye show.
When you blend protein fibers (hello, wool and alpaca) with a cellulose fiber (hey there, hemp), they grab dye differently and at different temperatures. Which means the color development is basically a science experiment with fabulous hair.
The result? Depth. Dimension. Unexpected pops. A little “ooh!” and sometimes a full “well would you look at that.”
Joshua II doesn’t just sit there looking pretty. It performs.

These Winter Socks are ridiculously squishy and almost suspiciously easy to make. Yes, really. Even if you’re a “I’m new to socks, please be gentle” knitter — this one’s for you. 🧦✨
You’ll use 2 skeins of Joshua II — our overachieving blend of Alpaca + Rambouillet + Columbia wool with a little domestic hemp for character. Because plain yarn is boring, and we don’t do boring.
This blend brings texture, visual depth, and just enough personality to keep things interesting — without making you question your life choices mid-heel turn.
The kit is simple. The knit is quick. The finished socks? Warm, durable, and wildly satisfying. Your feet will write you thank-you notes.
Inside your kit:
• 2 skeins of Joshua II DK in your chosen color
• A printed pattern
• Our fun little project bag (because we love a cute container moment)
Cast on. Squish often. Pretend you’re making them as a gift. Keep them anyway.
