Alpaca Merino Wool Socks and Sock Accessories

Our socks and sock accessories are all made with alpaca and merino wool grown in the USA. Imperial Yarn proudly manufactures our products utilizing American mills.

Pacarino blend of alpaca and merino wool is antimicrobial, thermoregulating and wicks away moisture. Imperial Yarn has worked to make our socks washer and dryer safe. Machine wash in cold water and dry on low heat for best results.

Our natural fibers are proudly Climate Beneficial Verified by the Fibershed. Our merino wool is a blend of Columbia and Rambouillet sheep. There are two species of alpacas Suri and Huacaya. Our socks contain Huacaya fiber.

Our wool is sheared once a year in early spring. Once the wool and alpaca are sheared the fiber is classed and graded, then shipped off to be washed (scoured). Once the fiber (wool and alpaca) is scoured it is sent to be carded into top the first step in making yarn. The top is then spun into beautiful yarn. The yarn then shipped to the sock mill. The sock mill knits the socks, sews the socks, washes and boards the socks. When the socks are completed, they are shipped to our warehouse in Oregon, where your order is shipped from.
